People come to therapy for a variety of reasons, with different levels of concern or distress. I offer a confidential space for you to talk about your life, to gain clarity and insight. I listen without judgement and help you attain new perspectives on your life and your relationships.
Psychotherapy works to enhance self-knowledge and increase your resources and choices in life. Whether you are troubled by a current situation, a painful or confusing past, or with concerns for your future - we work together, exploring solutions to the difficulties that are causing you unhappiness.
I work with a range of issues, in both long-term and brief time-limited therapy. My peaceful consulting room is located in the heart of the Harley Street district, in Wimpole Street W1. I also have a limited number of appointments in Muswell Hill Broadway N10.

I am an Integrative Therapist; this means that I blend specific therapy approaches (as outlined below). Sessions take their shape according to the needs of each individual client. As a whole my therapeutic approach offers you a space to get new perspectives on your life, deepen understanding of your self, and address issues that you are unhappy with and wish to change.
My Approach Integrates:
This approach focuses on thoughts and feelings in existing situations, so as to enhance your understanding of how you relate to yourself and others. Offering a space for you to express your self, and facilitating self-awareness and self-development.
This approach aims to shed light on thoughts, feelings and behaviours that you may not yet be fully aware of; to explore patterns that might have developed throughout your childhood or personal history, that are now repeating in your adult life. The focus is on how past experiences may be contributing to present feelings and experiences, because painful issues in the present will often have their roots in the past.
I also integrate CBT, a solution focused approach, offering practical strategies to help you visualise and plan desired changes, and carry those changes forward into your everyday life. At times it can also be helpful to bring in Mindfulness, a meditative approach that aims to cultivate awareness, and attention to the moment. This can be effective at calming stress and anxiety.
I have over 15 years of experience working with a wide range of issues in both long-term and time-limited brief therapy. In addition to my private practice, I have worked as an integrative therapist in the South London and Maudsley Psychological Therapies Service (NHS), and as a therapist in the Higher Education sector, counselling staff and students.
I am an Accredited member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy BACP, which is the largest professional body representing counselling and psychotherapy in the UK. I abide by the BACP code of ethics, and work to their strict professional standards. Please click here to find me on the BACP Register (cert no. 042816), or to find out more about the BACP.

My consulting room is situated in Wimpole Street W1 in Central London.
Wimpole Street runs parallel to Harley Street and is within easy reach of Oxford Circus and Bond Street.
I have a limited number of appointments in Muswell Hill Broadway N10.
I am also working online.
At the initial appointment we discuss your concerns and explore the best approach that we can take together to suit your needs. I will also ask you a bit about your past so as to put your concerns in a context.
We will look at whether you might benefit from brief or longer term therapy, and agree a provisional time-frame together. It is often useful to begin with an agreement for several sessions, and then to review together at regular intervals to decide on further sessions. The initial appointment will last 50 minutes, and is a chance to see if I am the right therapist for you. After that we will generally meet weekly, at a regular time, for 50 minute sessions.
Feel free to contact me to arrange a brief phone call to talk about what is bringing you to therapy, and to discuss scheduling an initial assessment appointment.
You can send a message via email using the form below, or call me on 07874207977 to leave a message.
I aim to respond to enquiries within 48 hours, between the hours of 9am and 6pm, except Sundays and public holidays.
